Only people close to you can hurt you

My reverend father in church on sunday said "what a stranger does to you can rarely hurt you, u only get hurt when someone close to you, someone u care about offends u". This is so very true!

These days, tales of people hurting people they 'love' abound - husbands killing wives, wives stabbing husbands, girlfirends stabbing boyfirnds, boyfriends pouring acid on girlfriends - horrific tales.

And i wonder, what excatly is wrong? Why on earth will u harm somebody u claim to love? Love isnt a do or die affair, if it doesnt sit well with you, talk a walk! noone tied you in there.

Now i stumbled across a stroy of a 17yr old boy who allegedly killed his parents! The very people who gave him life, who nurtured him for 17yrs. hmmm, when things fall apart, the centre barely holds

PALOS PARK, Ill. -- A suburban high school student was charged Monday night in the murder of his parents in Palos Park, about 25 miles southwest of Chicago.
John Granat, 17, called 911 from his home in the 12700 block of 81st Court Sunday morning and told authorities his parents were dead, according to a news release from the Cook County Sheriff's office.
Upon arrival, officers found John Granat, 44, and Maria Granat, 42, dead in their bedroom. John Granat died from blunt force trauma to his head and Maria Granat had been stabbed multiple times, the Cook County Medical Examiner's office determined.
According to the sheriff's office, the teen was questioned by officers about his "activities in the hours before he called 911 and late Monday night," and the investigation led to first degree murder charges against him.
Neighbors told the Chicago Tribune the Granat's were "the sweetest, most perfect family" and the sheriff's office had not revealed a possible motive in the slayings early Monday.
John Granat is set to appear in court Tuesday morning for a bond hearing. Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart will discuss the case at 10 a.m.
